Young Objects is a paper pulp studio focused on creating sustainably made objects that change how we feel in spaces and daily rituals.

All objects are one-of-a-kind and sculpted by hand using paper pulp, a type of papier-mâché. Using paper pulp as the primary medium came from the desire to find new life in old materials and to explore different ways of furnishing our spaces that are kind to Mother Earth. The pulp is made from recycled cardboard that is cleaned, processed, and finished to be more durable and water-resistant.

Aretha Choi is the artist and designer behind Young Objects and lives in New York. Her objects explore the tension between the organic and surreal worlds. Her work often is inspired by korean folk art, raw textures, and New York city-life.
